Breeder Farms
Breeder Farms:
Across Pakistan, Sabirs’ Group operates 38 state-of-the-art breeder farms where trained staff raises the parent stock. With 2.4 million annual breeder placements and an overall capacity of 3.8 million, the breeding stocks are maintained according to International standards. These standards include environment-controlled poultry houses equipped with modern ventilation, cooling, heating, feeding, and drinking systems. To minimize the risk of disease transmission, a meticulously designed biosecurity program is strictly implemented at all breeder farms.
Hatcheries:
Sabirs’ Group operates 5 hatcheries with a total of 240 hatchery machines. All hatcheries are equipped with modern cooling, heating, and humidification systems that provide an optimal environment for chick growth, in line with International standards. Only healthy, fertilized eggs are placed in disinfected incubators for 18 days. The eggs are then transferred to hatchers, where chicks emerge after a 3-day incubation period. Our total broiler day-old chick (DOC) production per annum is 275 million.
Broiler Farms:
Sabirs’ Group has a total broiler growing capacity of 38 million birds per annum, with an annual broiler placement of 36 million. At Sabirs’ Group, all birds are provided with unrestricted access to quality feed and water to ensure proper growth, which is a crucial aspect of animal welfare practices. Every day, our broiler farms send 100,000 – 110,000 birds to our processing plant for primary and further processing.
Feed Mills:
This is an important component of the vertical integration process. Sabroso is one of the few chicken brands in Pakistan that relies upon its own feed mills to fulfill the nutrient requirements of the chick. The feed production process revolves around a balanced formulation of essential vitamins, minerals, and natural greens. Stringent quality control mechanisms are followed throughout the entire process.
Quality Assurance Lab:
Our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement is upheld by state-of-the-art Quality Assurance Lab. To fully abide by the highest standards of quality, we incorporate rigorous testing at each step of production. From microbiological analysis to in-depth evaluations, the QA lab plays a crucial role in delivering unmatched quality and taste. Sabroso adheres to ISO 9001, Food Safety FSCC 2000 and Halal (PS 3733, GSO & UAE) food management systems in letter and spirit. So much so, there is a thorough implementation of the Personal Protective Equipment Program (PPEP) throughout the plant to maintain a safe and secure environment within the processing vicinity to safeguard the primary objective, which is food safety and quality.
Processing Plan:
We have two separate production lines to facilitate the production of chicken and chicken-related products. Primary processing and further processing are two basic pillars of the processing line. The primary processing line also has state-of-the-art equipment imported to facilitate smooth operations. This area is further segregated into high-risk and low-risk areas. Further processing area has European equipment imported from different countries to produce top-notch chicken-related products.
Distribution:
Sabirs’ Group has its own supply chain network, spanning all over Pakistan. To ensure seamless availability of chicken products, Sabroso has utilized each channel to ensure the presence of the brand in every corner of Pakistan. There are four distribution centers for Sabroso centered at Sheikupura, Multan, Islamabad, and Karachi. Temperature-controlled delivery vehicles are used to ensure food safety and quality for the movement of chicken goods. A special temperature of -18°C is maintained to ensure the quality of frozen delivery.
